Date Paste

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup soft dates (approximately 8 Medjool dates)

  • ¼ cup- ½ cup water

  • Process in a blender until a paste is formed.

Dehydrator method

Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Sprinkle onto a dehydrator sheet, allowing airflow in between pieces. Dehydrate for 18-24 hours or until dry at 115 degrees.

Oven method

Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Sprinkle onto a parchment paper-covered tray and bake at 175 C for 30-35 min or until crispy.

Sprouted Buckwheat

*To sprout buckwheat, soak the groats for 3 - 6 hours, rinse really well, and sprout in a mesh strainer, covered with cheesecloth for 1-2 days. You can dry them at 150C for 30 min in the oven or at 115 F for 24 hours in the dehydrator.
